Max Beckmann (b. 1995, Münster, Germany) is a German designer. His work ranges from Industrial Design with an artistic approach to art and installation. Max is inspired by everyday observations of human interactions, philosophical theories, and his strong fascination for the mundane things surrounding us. He aims to create things that enable a deeper connection through emotional response. It is his goal to turn thoughts into things that can act as the starting point of questioning the world and the things around us. His process is characterized by a hands-on mentality, structured experimenting, and physical research.
Max graduated from the Industrial Design Masters program at BURG Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle in 2022. He was honored as one of the winners of the ein&zwanzig award in 2021 and part of the AS SEEN BY exhibition from Rimowa in 2022.
